Join us to find out more about what your child is working on during Module Lessons, A.L.L Block, and everything in between. We will cover the big ideas of the program, expectations, how to help with homework, and how each grade builds on one another.

Next we will dive into an example lesson and explore some of the text your children will use this year. We will also share how you can support your students in this curriculum transition.

Check out some easy and fun STEM activities to try at home with your future scientist, engineer or mathematician. These activities require very few materials and will keep you and your child engaged in the 4Cs during school breaks.
Have you heard your child talk about being stuck on land, or mention that they are in the Red Zone? What does all that mean? We will be learning about Social Emotional Learning utilizing the same language that your children have learned. Being mindful of how you are feeling and what zone you are in is essential in beginning to decide what to do about it. Moving past the basic volcanic eruption experiment and digging into the Real Science 5th graders study to prepare for Science EOG. From understanding Newton’s 3 laws of motion, interdependence in various ecosystems around the world, genetics, the function of 7 human body systems to what causes weather!
Come learn about the progression of current strategies for multiplication and division as they build from third to fifth grade. See how these methods help build conceptual understanding. You will have the chance to try out some of the strategies to help make math homework time a little less stressful!

Meet Slithering Sam, a king who can kick, a quarrelsome queen or even Noisy Nick! Let’s all go to Letterland! In this session you will be introduced to the Letterland characters, receive a brief overview of the Letterland program and resources, and learn tips to support your child at home.

Academic Vocabulary is the language that is used to acquire new learning and skills. You will learn ways to encourage your child to develop academic vocabulary and activities they can use at home. (First session is completely in Spanish. Second session is in English.)
